Abhishek Mehta is Head of Product Research with a company having deep Insights
on Language Semantics and is a consultant in the field of "Language Semantics",
"Computational Linguistics", Ontology, E-Publishing, "Variable Data Printing"
and E-Learning. Currently based in Bangalore, he is the core member of
Semantic Insights research team, developing a "Semantic Operating System",
whose goal is to understand unstructured text for a defined language, ontology
and domain.
Being Semantic, Ontology, PDF, VDP pioneer he has helped companies to shape their products and facilitate the developments-deliveries around these domains. Integration of new technologies, proposals for efficient processes and migration of existing systems to futuristic ones have benefited many organizations. He has setup development units for fresh startups and incubation teams for product concepts companies. In most of the cases, he has also taken charge of their development divisions.
Prior to his current assignment, Abhi was contracted from Germany (2004) to setup a totally new division of ceTe software- Maryland, USA based company in Mysore, . He established the whole technical operations of ceTe software and had taken total charge of product development from offshore office. Association fulfilled after the launch of Dynamic PDF Generator & Merger from newly set-up Indian operations backed by his knowledge of PDF and digital publishing industry.
Abhi has worked in North America, Europe and Asia on various assignments before moving back to India. Some of his other assignments include providing solutions based on one-to-one marketing concepts, Digital Printing/Publishing, "web to print" based on VDP concepts, Learning Management Systems and lot more.
He is a Computer Engineer from "Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Engineering and Technology" (SBSCET) and professional member of ACM, IEEE and PODi
